Mom called me this morning. "Wake up, this is an emergency!" she said. I, of course, knew this was no emergency because I've heard emergency voice, and this was not it.

But when she told me the gossip, I flipped immediately to crisis mode.

"24 is not going to be on at all next season," she said.

The word on the street is Kiefer's going to jail from his DUI action, and apparently last season's flop didn't help the promise of another decent season.

I haven't been able to find any actual news of this, and only find news that the season is postponed because of the writers strike, which I already knew. Please put me out of my misery and dispel this rumor.
