Sunday night unwind.

Another weekend has come to a close. Let us reflect... FAVRE SUCKS.

OK, that's all.

JUST KIDDING. Well, I mean, yes, he sucks, but that is not all I have to say. I don't know why I'm shocked he did a complete repeat of what he did to the Packers just two years ago. Hey jerk, interceptions don't get you to the Super Bowl. I think I'll be a Saints fan that day, just because they took down the giant. Although I just found out the Colts coach went to my high school. Odd. OK, enough about football. I'm bored.

Friday night I guest bartended for a Team in Training fundraiser at AJ Bombers in Milwaukee. Was mostly a reminder of what great friends I have. I concocted a magical "purple drink" (in honor of the TNT colors), and sold them for $5. All proceeds went to my cause. I think the purple drink got a couple funny looks, but they went down like Kool-aid. So, win for everyone!

I also need to say I ate what they call the "Barrie Burger," and it had bacon and crunchy peanut butter on it, and it was so magical I've been dreaming about it ever since. You guys. Peanut butter on a burger. A-mazing.

Spending the night in Milwaukee was good times, as usual. Got to hang with my new Twitter BFF, who is absolutely fantastic. Also, as usual, I love Twitter, as it reminds me that people are good and genuine and great. If you haven't come across amazing people on Twitter, try harder.

Visiting Milwaukee, while great, actually reminded me of how much I love living in Madison. I can't really explain it. I'm happy here. It's a great city with great people. When I leave it, I'm excited to come back. It's taken me a year to reach that level, but it's here. Amen to that.

I've spent the majority of the rest of my weekend laying in bed. Napping, eating, catching up on 24, watching Favre suck it. Except this afternoon I went out for a run with a Daily Mile pal, and I was quickly reminded that one must never run without first eating. Wow, I felt awful. Absolutely beat by the time I got home. We made it 13 miles, but man, the entire thing felt like the last 6 miles of a marathon. T-e-r-r-i-b-l-e.

Chalk that up to a whoops!

In other random news, some briefs:

  • Saw The Lovely Bones last week. I am probably the only person on the continent who liked it. Why am I alone? I loved the book, one of my very disturbing favorites, and I enjoyed the movie, too. Saoirse Ronan is a crazy great actress.
  • Just finished watching Rachel Got Married. I liked it? I say that with a question mark because I'm still not entirely sure that I did. Anne Hathaway was awesome in it, but the rest of the movie kind of... dragged? Very odd. But interesting.
  • I can't believe tomorrow's Monday. Dammit.
  • I like cats.
  • Your mama.

Goodnight, loves.
