Sports education.

I learned to throw a proper football pass yesterday, thanks to the coaching of MOB. In fact, now that I know how to properly throw a football, I don't know why I didn't give up this journalism shit years ago and taken up professional football. But alas...

However, I can now say I know how to execute the buttonhook, the, uh, something about faking a hand-off, another pass that involves a lot of running and a good arm, and some pass that's good for a play at third and three.

SEE? I know what I'm talking about. I feel this knowledge will be beneficial, will it not? I think it's quite important to know how to get out of a pickle when you're down by six and the clock is ticking.

THANKYOUVERYMUCH.

So I'm feeling pretty good. And MOB didn't yell - even once. This coach/athlete relationship will go far.

He taught me something else on Sunday that blew my mind, and may or may not prove that I'm a total moron:

Am I the only person who never knew this particular team logo has both an "m" and a "b" in it? As in Milwaukee Brewers?

D'oh.

Thought so.
