Spending money like we have some.

Our magical trip to IKEA turned out to be quite an expensive venture that turned itself into an entire weekend of money spending. Which is cute because we don't have money. Oh, I got my bookshelf and Jeremy got his bed frame, but that also turned into two matching night stands adorned with two matching lamps. Not to mention the new entertainment center with matching coffee table.

The a trip to IKEA with friends spilled over into the Woodfield Mall, and by the time the day was over, we both had a new pair of running shoes, I had a new Nine West hand bag and our bellies were full of P.F. Changs.

We all headed over to the 11 p.m. show at the Improv in Schaumburg to see comedian Gabriel Iglesias, which amounted to two glasses of wine, two white Russians and a night in the Motel 6. Because we like to slumber in class, obviously.

Jeremy is spending the day at the BMW Championship PGA golf tournament, probably stalking Tiger Woods' wife, and I just woke up from a nap in the hammock in my parents' backyard.

I don't think the weekend could get any better unless I took myself to Wal-Mart to buy some new Burt's Bees chapstick.

I think I just got jealous of my own life.
