On Sept. 28 I put a book on hold at The Library. It was a random thought. I saw it and thought, "I want to read that."
Today, it became available. Three months later. Sex and the City by Candace Bushnell. I love the show. Love. Have every season on DVD. But do I really want to read the book now, too? Especially since I have eight new books at home, waiting patiently to be read?
I figure it took three months of waiting before the book actually became available, so I better jump at the chance while it's here. I still have to finish The Memory of Running by Ron McLarty (which, by the way, is fantastic so far) before I do anything, but hopefully Sex and the City is worth the read.
Also, did anyone notice I now own Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged? I guess this will solve the "Will I, or Won't I, Read It?" dilemma. But give me a minute. Or 2,857. It'll probably take me three years to finish.
