OK, so let's break it down.

I need $1,500 to reach my Team In Training fundraising goal. We're about to do some simple math to break it down and make it look and feel really easy to do. Are you ready? Get your wallets out. That equals 15 people with $100. There has got to be 15 people out there in the blogosphere who have a spare $100. I know you're out there. Just 15 people... one-five.

OR... 30 people to donate $50. But for some reason that feels more daunting, doesn't it? I mean, 30 people? That's a lot. I don't think I even know 30 people in real, live life. On the Internets, sure, I have approximately 562 friends. But in life? No. But $50 ain't so bad, right? Right.

I'd go with 60 $25 donations, but that just seems silly. Rounding up 60 people is a hell of a lot harder than rounding up 15. I'm not good at herding 60 people.

Another solution. This site gets at least 100 hits a day these days. (Sigh. Makes me miss the glory days of 600+ hits a day. My how I've fallen from grace...). However, if every time someone visited my blog tomorrow they also donated $10, I'd be there. So there. TEN DOLLARS. You guuuuuuuuuuuuuys, that's so eaaaaaaasy. Like pie.

I'm on a mission. I'm ready to do something drastic. Like write the names of the next 15 $100 donors in permanent marker all over my body on race day. You can choose the body part(s). I'll prove it with pictures. Maybe. If it's appropriate. If it's not, use your imagination.

Help me, help me, help me. The end. Smooch.
