Oh. Ouch.

Remember that one time I attempted the push up throwdown? Remember how hard it was? Yet remember how ecstatic I was to have completed it? Also remember how I said I was going to keep on keepin' on with the push ups, because they were so great? Meh. I didn't. 

What? I'm weak. Trying to multitask with running and push ups and eating and more running and more push ups is hard. Boo-hoo. 

But I'm a total sucker and came across another challenge: the hundred push ups challenge. The rules are all meticulous, so go to the site to read about it, but essentially the purpose is to work your way up to being able to do 100 consecutive push ups after a six-week buildup. 

My arms are all pissed, like, "WTF?" But I'm totally going to try. Because I CANNOT back down from a challenge. It's gross, really. 

I just did the initial "exhaustion test." I basically had to do as many proper and in-good-form push ups as I could do before collapsing. I did 30. Thirty is a long way from 100. 

I'll start my first week on Monday. I triple-dog dare you to try it.
