Wisconsin author Michael Perry has been in town for two nights doing a reading of his latest book "Coop: A Year of Poultry, Pigs, and Parenting." (FYI: he also wrote "Population: 485" and "Truck").
I missed it last night, but snuck down to the bookstore early tonight to catch him. I'm pumped, I've heard good things about this guy. I'm in the middle of "Population: 485" right now. It's good, by the way.
So I'm here. And waiting in the front row. I'll snap a photo and post it once he's here.
BOOK NERD ALERT, people.
