Just wait until the next episode of "Pimp My Ride."

So, I'm on the treadmill yesterday morning. And I'm actually working quite hard - the speed is up to about 6.5, or whatever brings me to an 8-minutes and 57-second mile. It felt good, man.

And as usual, I'm staring at MTV, getting my daily fix of music videos. Oh, how I missed music videos. Reminds me of skipping class to watch TRL. Anyhow, the video up to bat, at that time, was Daughtry's "It's Not Over." Now, I don't know if you've ever seen (former American Idol finalist, thank you much) Chris Daughtry, but, well, he's not ugly. And his band is quite good.

So there's that.

And so I'm watching the video. Watching, watching, watching. And running. Hard. And I'm sweating. And I'm wondering how Chris Daughtry perfects the bald head, goatee thing. And suddenly? I'm weepy! The video actually makes me all choke-y and weep-like.

WHAT IS GOING ON?

It was just a guy, who I assume we are to believe was recently released from jail, and who goes home to his woman, who perhaps isn't as trusting, and is afraid he will go back into his criminal behavior, which I also believe we are to assume is robbery. And then, at the end, he looks all suspicious walking into a jewelry store, and we are to believe he is about to rob it, and his woman is at home all panic-like and trying to call him, but he's not answering, and suddenly he comes home, and she looks worried, but he gets on one knee and PROPOSES because he didn't ROB the place, he BOUGHT HER a ring! Ah! Weepy!

Alright, you had to be there. I'm a total sap.
