Best concert EVER, a review. Of sorts.

Somehow almost a week has passed, and I've yet to discuss the Jason Mraz concert. WTF.

I apologize. Because clearly you were all waiting patiently. Since you all LOVE him. As much as me. Obviously.

Sister and I arrived, each with $20 in hand. We perused the merchandise, and instead decided we were going to blow our money on $11 smoothie booze drinks in collectible tiki mugs.

Reasonable.

Until Anya Marina came to the stage. This girl rocked. I don't even know how to describe her style. She's mellow. Vintage. Witty. Made jokes about her Russian mother and drunk dialing.

When she was done, we made a beeline back to the merch table and bought her latest album, Slow & Steady Seduction: Phase II. Go to her MySpace page and listen to her.

You're welcome.

Then we had the Plain White T's. Dang, I like them. I knew I liked them, but after seeing them live, yup, still like them. Sang some of my PWT favorites, including "Hate (I Really Don't Like You)" and their new song, "1, 2, 3, 4," which is such a precious song.

Obviously they wouldn't go away without playing "Hey There Delilah," so, there was that. I love that song. Still. I do not care. Regardless of how badly it makes me want to stuff my head under a pillow and suffocate.

And then, of course, Jason Mraz. Oh, how I love him. He never gets old. This was my fourth Mraz show, and probably my favorite, mostly because of the opening acts and his song choices. Plus sissy was with me, and we got to boogie to "Dynamo of Volition." Again.

Good times.

AND HE SANG "PLANE." I have been waiting almost four years to hear that song live again. Oh, glorious. Seriously.

He is as good, if not better, live as he is on his albums. Plus we get to look at him, so, I mean, that's fun. He's got mad talent. Hate on him all you want, but not in front of me. Swear to god. I'll cut a bitch. Let me have my Mraz, and you go have your... whoever you listen to.

No judging.

It was a great show. Fun, as usual. He's hilarious. Very chill. More like hanging out than it is like watching a concert.

Success.
