I spent Friday night babysitting for Skylar. We laughed, ate apples, read books and watched an Elmo video exactly five times. She loves Elmo.

In fact, she speaks about seven audible words, and one of them is "Elmo." The rest of the time I'm convinced she's speaking toddler Latin. If she's not speaking toddle Latin, she's pointing at the television repeating, "Elmo. Elmo. Elmo. Elmo."

And if you don't turn on Elmo, it gets louder. "ELMO. ELMO. ELMO. ELMO."

Just turn on Elmo. Trust me.

I freaking love this kid.
